Andrew J. Wynn II has dedicated over six years of service to the Savannah Police Department, where he honed a diverse range of law enforcement skills. His training includes specialized areas such as Basic Gang Investigations, Gang Intelligence, Criminal Street Gangs, and Interviews and Interrogations, as well as advanced leadership courses like Leadership in Police (Levels 1-3). His background is further enhanced by proficiency in Domestic Violence Training, Social Networking Investigations, and Crisis Intervention—all crucial in navigating today’s complex crime landscape.

Andrew earned a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University, providing him with deep insights into both criminal behavior and effective enforcement strategies. This academic foundation has enabled him to approach law enforcement from both a practical and psychological perspective, equipping him to address a wide array of situations.

Throughout his career, Andrew has consistently excelled in Intelligence Gathering and De-escalation Techniques—skills essential for ensuring public safety and peaceful conflict resolution. His readiness for high-stress, critical situations is reflected in his training in Lethal Force, Stress Mitigation, Defensive Techniques, and Active Shooter Response. These competencies highlight his preparedness to face emergencies with calm and decisive action.

Passionate about community education and proactive safety, Andrew founded Wynn’s Home Awareness, an initiative designed to educate families on securing their homes, vehicles, and loved ones. His goal is to empower communities to take practical steps in preventing crime and creating safer environments.

Drawing inspiration from his father’s 30-year military career, Andrew’s unwavering commitment to public service defines his work ethic. His dedication to professionalism, community engagement, and public safety stands as a testament to his desire to make a positive impact every day.
